Lined Diaphragm Valves for Corrosive Service

FLOEC diaphragm valves are designed and manufactured as per BS 5156. They are widely used in water treatment plants, fertilizer and petrochemical industries, pharmaceutical units, chemical process units, refineries and power plants, and are most appropriate for positive pressure and high vacuum conditions.

Total wet area and working parts are kept from contact with the working media by lining with different qualities of rubber, PTFE / PFA and similar materials, so extremely corrosive fluids are handled efficiently and safely.

Maintenance is extremely simple: dismantle the bonnet from the body and the whole trim assembly can be taken out while the body remains in the pipeline, allowing online maintenance. Linear flow characteristics make the valve suited to throttling or modulating duty, and on/off and control automation is supplied with pneumatic actuators or cylinders.

Materials include cast iron, S.G. iron, cast carbon steel, stainless steel of all grades and high alloy steels like Alloy-20, CD4MCu and Hastelloy. Sizes run from 15 NB to 250 NB, with pressure ratings from ASME 125# / 150# / PN.
