Reliable Reverse-Flow Prevention
FLOEC Swing Check / Non-Return Valves are designed and manufactured as per BS 1868. Check valves are essential in the piping system of every field: they prevent reverse flow of fluid during failure or abrupt shut-down of the piping system, so they need very good sealing efficiency.
FLOEC swing check valves have a precisely guided swinging disc through a hinge. The hinge and swivel disc are linked to maintain adequate flexibility so that sealing is smooth and efficient.
They are available with metal-to-metal sealing for high temperature and pressure, and soft sealing for pneumatic and vacuum applications. The valve functions smoothly with a very nominal differential pressure from either side, and the disc is compact and lightweight so that pressure drop across the valve is minimal.
Available in cast iron, cast carbon steel, cast stainless steel of all grades and high alloy steels like Alloy-20, CD4MCu, duplex, super duplex and Hastelloy. Sizes range from 50 NB to 900 NB and pressure ratings from ASME 125# through 2500#.
